At the north side of the city and the Festung Boulogne lies the Fort de la Creche, a fortification with a very old history. The locations is situated at the roundabout connecting the D940, coast road, with the D96 going inland.
The whole locations contains three(3) section 1-2-3, one on the top of the hill, one down the slope to the sea and the last one at the right side along the beach. (Not on the beach)
There where two batteries placed on this location, one with 10,5cm SKC/32 guns in bunkers of type 671. The other battery was sheltered in 3 Sk-casemates and equipped with re-used France 19,4cm KM/02 guns. The third location had 15,5cm and 7,62cm guns. All locations had anti-aircraft protection with several kinds of Flak-guns.
